ACUPUNCTURE AND INTEGRAL WELL-BEING
Acupuncture is an ancient technique of traditional Chinese medicine that consists of stimulating specific points on the body to balance vital energy, relieve pain, and promote overall health.
At Helianthus Clinic, acupuncture is much more than a treatment: it is a path to balance of body, mind and emotions.

ELECTROPUNCTURE AND MOTOR POINTS
Motor point acupuncture is a specialized technique that acts on the exact location where a nerve connects to a muscle (motor point), with the aim of relieving chronic tension, treating sports injuries, and restoring muscle function.
Unlike traditional musculoskeletal acupuncture, electrical stimulation relaxes overactive muscles to rebalance tense or weakened ones. It is effective in treating musculoskeletal pain, overuse injuries, and even paralysis, as it relaxes overactive muscles and stimulates inhibited ones, integrating Eastern theory with Western anatomy to achieve faster results.
NEOCLASSICAL ACUPUNCTURE
Neoclassical Acupuncture is an innovative and revolutionary approach created by Dr. Slate Burris that, unlike other types of acupuncture, allows for the treatment of multiple symptoms with a single needle. Some renowned masters, such as Dr. Tan, Master Tung, and others, attempted to treat multiple health conditions with a single needle; however, they rarely succeeded. This treatment was considered the highest level of mastery. Dr. Slate Burris discovered how to treat several symptoms with ONE SINGLE NEEDLE. The results are immediate.
Dr. Burris has studied with some of the best, including Dr. Tan and Kiiko Matsumoto. Through years of diligent clinical practice, he has been able to devise a method of abdominal and leg palpation to determine which Elements, Meridians, and Extraordinary Meridians are blocked. And, with the minimal use of needles—even a single needle—his method can clear blockages, leading to a significant reduction, even 100% symptoms.
In this video, Ekaterina Fedotova treats Bell’s palsy and possible hemiplegia with just two needles.
The results are astonishingly spectacular and immediate.
DR. TAN'S BALANCE METHOD
It’s an incredibly effective approach that delivers rapid results. This transformational treatment boasts a 95% success rate at Helianthus Clinic with numerous patients. It generates up to a 50% reduction in pain in just one treatment.
Undoubtedly, keeping pain under control requires treatment. The Balance Method is different because instead of practicing it once a week, it’s performed 2-3 times a week and with much greater intensity, so pain relief comes at a faster pace—in weeks rather than several months.
With this method, needles are never placed directly into areas of discomfort or pain. For example, shoulder pain can be relieved by placing needles in the hips or specific areas of the ankle, rather than the shoulder. Within minutes, the pain may disappear, and the aggravated area is less likely to cause discomfort. It’s similar to turning on a light bulb: the switch is far from the bulb, perhaps in a corner of the room or even on the ceiling. Once the switch is turned on, a flow of electricity is created toward the bulb. Similarly, placing needles in the hip can stimulate the flow of energy to the shoulder. A holographic system (similar to reflexology) is used to determine which areas of the body are suitable.
