EKATERINA FEDOTOVA
She is the founder of the Helianthus Holistic Clinic and the UK Balance Method Academy, as well as president of the British Association of Acupuncture and Holistic Medicine.
From a holistic perspective, Ekaterina guides people toward awakening their natural self-healing abilities through profound, respectful, and personalized support.
Ekaterina works with an integrative approach that combines different therapeutic disciplines. Each treatment is tailored to the specific needs of the individual, understanding health as a dynamic balance between body, mind, and emotions.
EDUCATION AND CAREER
Graduate by Moscow State University, Ekaterina furthered her studies at the Valencia School of Art and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Her interest in the relationship between consciousness and health led her to earn a degree in Psychology from the University of Manchester.
Concurrently, she trained in Reiki with Master Mira Moiseeva, whose teachings profoundly influenced her therapeutic approach and clinical practice, which she developed for years in Manchester.
Her training in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture was consolidated at universities in Spain and the United Kingdom, complemented by learning from international experts such as Dr. Jimmy Chang and Dr. Richard Tan.
Ekaterina practices Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method, as well as Dr. Slate Burris’s neoclassical acupuncture, renowned for its high efficacy in pain relief. She is also a certified herbalist and uses phytotherapy as a preventative and therapeutic tool for a wide range of conditions.
Her clinical experience, combined with ongoing research and professional development, has led her to develop innovative and highly effective therapeutic approaches.
TEACHING AND OUTREACH
Ekaterina is a leading consultant of the Balance Method in Russia and teaches this technique in the UK and various European countries. She has provided acupuncture training internationally and is the author of several books and specialized manuals, actively contributing to the development and dissemination of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
