There are many reasons for infertility, however, according to the latest research, only about 30 percent of cases involves females. Another 30 percent are due to male fertility problems, and the remaining 40 percent involves both male and female with the unknown cause of imbalance.
The most frequent cause of females infertility is related to ovulation problems. Endometriosis has proven to affect female fertility in 30 percent of cases. Other causes can be due to obstruction in the fallopian tubes but sometimes may even remain unexplained. Male infertility is usually caused by a poor quality of sperm.
Our clinic in Highgate, North of London provides fertility treatments for both men and women. We also developed a special programme that embraces physical and psychological causes of infertility.
1. Acupuncture helps to boost female fertility by
- Increasing blood flow to the pelvic organs thus improving blood circulation;
- Regulating fertility hormones;
- Resolving causes of ovulation dysfunction;
- Treating PSOS – Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, which is proven to be the one of the most common causes of female infertility;
- Stress relief;
- Increases a man’s sperm count needed for conception and improving sperm motility.
2. It is well known that stress and other factors can disrupt the function of fertility hormones in both males and females. Stress and negative emotions may initiate hormonal imbalances that may negatively influence fertility.
When stressed, the adrenal glands release adrenalin. The release of adrenalin is understood by our body as a negative period for conception. As a result, our body prevents utilising the hormone progesterone, which is vital for the process of conception.
We understand that it is vitally important for natural conception to release stress and/or any negative emotions. Therefore we offer Emotional and Stress Release course which has proven to be highly effective especially with women infertility. Emotional Release Therapy sessions are usually empowered by healing Reiki energy. For further reading follow this link – Emotional Release Therapy
Chinese Medicine considers infertility as a consequence of body imbalance. According to Chinese Medical philosophy, an imbalance creates blockage in the natural flow of Qi or the “vital energy” which flows throughout the body. If the flow of Qi is blocked, the body cannot maintain harmony and balance which results in health problems, or infertility.
The fertility program in our North London clinic is based on centuries worth of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
